FAQ

Where are you located?

We are based in Reno, NV inside Reno Public Market. Sometimes we go on the road and come to a mountain near you. Best way to get those details is to sign up for emails and join the Clubhouse.

Where can I touch you IRL (with consent, obvs)?

In addition to our shop in Reno Public Market, you can find a selection of our skis and snowboards in REI, evo, Backcountry, Next Adventure, Powder 7, and Sports Basement. If your favorite shop isn't on that list, you could do us both a solid by emailing them, calling them, DM'ing them, and/or stopping by daily and asking them to carry Coalition. Because lord knows we have tried but no one listens probably because they are scared of and/or confused by us.

Where can I demo your gear?

Demos are available by appointment at our shop in Reno, NV. You also can demo at some of the shops that carry us. Best to reach out to them directly for details because we're not the boss of them. Click here to learn more about our rental and demo program.

How can I finance my purchase?

You can select ShopPay or Afterpay in checkout to pay in installments. If you qualify, you'll have a few different plans to choose from.

Do you have a rewards program?

You know it. Who doesn't love free shit? Click here to sign up and start earning points for each purchase that you can redeem toward future purchases. 

What about an affiliate program?

Yep. Please contact us for the application so that we know you are a real human and not some bot or naughty person.

Do you sponsor athletes?

Do you have an ambassador team?

Only the best one around, obvs. Apply to join here and give us your best stuff. We get so many applications that we can't respond to all of them.

Please tell me you have a pro-deal program?!?

Your know it! You can apply for it here. It's only available to ski patrol, ski instructors, guides, and individuals who work full-time in the outdoor industry.

Can you send me goods for my fundraiser or event?

To be honest, maybe. We try to support as many non-profits and community events as possible but we're really small and the number of requests are really big. Please complete this form 4-6 weeks in advance of your event.

Shipping

How much do you charge to ship?

We offer free shipping on orders over $150 within the lower 48 states. For orders under $150, we charge a flat rate of $8. 

Shipping rates for Alaska and Canada will appear in your checkout. If you have questions about shipping rates to other countries, please contact us.

Do you ship outside of the US?

We do ship to certain international destinations. You are responsible for any duties/VAT/taxes that are imposed on imported goods in your country.

It's impossible for us to know everything so we're counting on you to know what fees/duties/VAT your country charges on imports from the US. We are not able to add those fees on to your purchase. 

We have temporarily halted shipping to the UK until we can determine how best to implement the new Brexit rules. (You all knew that was a bad idea, right?)

Canada folks, you can shop a selection of our skis and snowboards at MEC. You're welcome.

How do you ship?

We ship skis and snowboards via UPS and apparel and accessories via USPS. Occasionally our CEO might deliver them on her broom.

How often do you ship?

We ship two to three times a week, depending on the season and volume of orders and Sarah's mood.

Is my packaged insured and protected?

Your package is protected only if you pay for Navidium Package Protection, which is toggled on at checkout, for both skis/snowboards and any USPS shipments.

We have seen an uptick in issues with all logistics companies. It's a very small price to pay for peace of mind and package replacement or an order refund.

If you decide to remove Navidium Package Protection from your order, Coalition Snow is unable to replace any lost/stolen packages.

Take the delivery of your new favorite thing into your own hands and do the right thing. Pay for package protection!

Returns, Exchanges, & Warranties

What's your return policy?

Not happy with our gear? Return your skis or snowboard after five days on the mountain anytime during the season that you purchase your gear. Learn more here.

Ski and snowboard returns/exchanges will incur a $25 shipping fee.

We accept returns and exchanges for apparel and accessories that have not been worn or used within 21 days of the ship date.

Enjoy free shipping on Apparel & Accessory returns if you choose store credit. Otherwise a shipping fee of $8 will be deducted from your refund. 

We only accept returns on items purchased directly from us.

Yard Sale items can only be exchanged; no returns on Yard Sale items.

We are unable to make exceptions to our generous return policy. Thanks in advance for understanding.

How can I start a return or exchange?

All you need is your order number and the shipping zip code in hand. You’ll find your order number in your Coalition Snow Order Confirmation email or the packing slip included in your shipment.

What's your warranty policy?

All of our skis and boards have a lifetime warranty for manufacturer’s defects. Rocks, trees, rails, boxes, humans, or any other object that your board or skis come in contact with or other user errors that result in damage do not qualify for a warranty, unless you purchase an Extend policy.
