Essentials for your Solstice Rituals

The December Solstice remind us of nature's eternal cycles of death and rebirth, of expansion and contraction. The solstice invites us to honor these threshold moments – to acknowledge both the gifts of darkness and the power of light's return. It is a time for deep reflection, for recognizing our place within these greater natural rhythms that have guided human consciousness since time immemorial. Shop our favorite goods that help us celebrate and honor transitions with these eight rituals.

Sale on Sale

You know that feeling when you’re deep cleaning your closet and you find like two sweaters you thought were gone forever, a pair of shoes you were sure you had given away, and other lil’ treasures that you have no idea how you have lived without for all these years?!?

That was us this weekend after our 24/25 line of skis and snowboards arrived at our warehouse. With every pallet we pulled and crate we reorganized, we were reminded of all the gems in stock. We thought about taking them home with us but that’s sort of the opposite of what we’re supposed to do as a business, so instead you can shop it all for 20% off!

Take an extra 20% off all sale items through September 30th! No code needed :)

Samples & Seconds

What can you expect from our Sample and Cosmetic Blem skis and snowboards? Brand new gear without the new new price tag. Both are free from any manufacturing defects and are just as good as everything else you'll find here (don't tell anyone).

Cosmetic Blems have nearly unnoticeable top sheet variances (re: small weird graphic things that even we can't detect).

Samples are skis and snowboards that we order in advance of our full production run to confirm that the graphics look good (you know they do) and to use for photoshoots.

Sisu Magazine

Back in the day, we had an idea to make a quarterly magazine that was unlike any outdoor magazine that had ever been published. So we dusted off our journalism degrees and found the most interesting and radical people in the outdoor industry and asked them to tell their stories.

Sisu Magazine was born and inside the pages you would find stories about the first trans woman to compete in the Freeride World Tour, learn how to tell your van-life husband that you’re actually a lesbian, discover why affinity spaces for Black women are necessary and important, and so much more.

It was what we wanted to read back then and what we still want to read, served up by the writers, artists, and photographers who are at the forefront of the modern outdoor movement.

But then this thing called COVID happened and all of our funding dried up as did our appetite to chase down brands to sponsor each issue. So we stopped publishing with no announcement or fanfare.

We're proud of the collaborative work that we were able to do with amazing writers, artists, and photographers for nine issues. The storytelling stands, and that's why we still make the digital issues available. Enjoy.
