How do I sell my used gear to Coalition Snow?
First you will fill out the intake form here. Then you'll hear from us. If your gear is accepted, you'll get store credit or cold hard cash in hand.
Is there a physical location to get my gear evaluated?
Yes! If you’re in the Reno/Tahoe area, you can swing by Far Out at the Reno Public Market to get a same day decision and avoid all the shipping hassles and costs. Thursday-Sunday 12-6pm.
How do I ship my skis or snowboard to Coalition Snow?
You will receive a packaging kit from Coalition Snow that includes all of the supplies you need to ship your gear to us. The only thing you will need is shipping tape.
How is gear evaluated?
Skis/Snowboards are evaluated by assigning a score to the overall condition of the gear. The score is calculated based on the condition of the topsheet, edges, and base. That score is then used to determine the amount of store credit or cash that will be issued.
How much can I get for my gear?
We give you 60% of the sale price if you choose store credit and 30% if you choose cash.
Do I have to pay for shipping?
Nope, we got you covered. You'll receive a pre-paid shipping label in your packaging kit.
Can I trade in skis or snowboards that aren’t Coalition Snow?
Yes! I know right? Brands other than Coalition Snow can only receive Store Credit.
Can I return or exchange a used pair of skis or snowboard?
All Second Tracks gear cannot be returned or exchanged.
How do I pack my skis and send them to you?
We made a video that explains this! Check it out here.
Bindings must be removed from skis and snowboards prior to shipping to Coalition Snow. Skis that have been mounted more than once are not eligible.
Skis and Boards with multiple large core shots and severe edge damage will not be considered. Skis must be in good condition or better. See the intake form for an explanation on conditions.
All final decisions about whether your gear is officially accepted to the program will be made once it is evaluated in person by Coalition Snow staff.
