New Traditions: Indigenous Backcountry Scholarship

We’re teaming up with Deenaalee Hodgdonone of the newest members of our Ambassador team and the Creator and Host of On The Land Media, to create a scholarship fund for Indigenous communities to access avalanche training and backcountry skiing and riding.

A portion of proceeds from all sales from today will seed this scholarship, and we will continue to support it through various initiatives throughout the year.

During this week, when so many people are coming together to give thanks, we couldn’t be more proud to start a new tradition that allows us to commune in gratitude with Indigenous people who have protected and cared for our land for generations.

When we think about the people who we want to partner with to co-create a future in snowsports that is diverse, welcoming, and inclusive, we couldn’t be more proud to partner with people like Deenaalee.

How can you be a part of this? Donate directly to this fund here.
