Kungyokudo Incense

Kungyokudo is Kyoto's oldest & best-known manufacturer, making the scents for the ceremonies of our everyday life since 1954. These high-quality incense sticks contain only pure essences and no wood or bamboo. They are lovingly crafted based on their centuries-old tradition. The scents are warming, soothing, and long-lasting.
Each pack contains 18 sticks in incense (three of each scent), as well as a brass incense holder.
Shiko Red, Three of Each Scent:
Sakaimachi (Kungyokudo)—Mixed scent
Kitayama no Bara (Rose)—Sweet and beautiful like the petals of roses that bloom with the morning dew
Ohara no Cosmos (Cosmos)—Light and sweet scent like cosmos flowers blooming under the clear autumn sky
Kitano no Kabai (Plum Blossoms)—Gorgeous and noble scent like red plum blossoms that when blooming in light snow, make us feel the coming of spring soon
Diago no Sakura (Cherry Blossoms)—Sweet and soothing scent that make us feel like we are walking through the cherry blossoms
Gion no Maiko (Maiko)—Sweet and gorgeous scent like the fragrant Maiko hanging in the air with her sleeves

Miyama no Renge (Astragalus)—Refreshing and sour scent like pretty astragalus that covers the whole field in Miyama, Kyoto, surrounded by lush mountains
Otowa no Take (Fresh Water)—Cool and refreshing scent like a pure waterfall rising from the mountains of Otowa in Kyoto
Yase no Kourinousou (Lavender)—Elegant and relaxing scent like the wind blowing into lavender fields, bringing you a relaxing time to refresh your mind and body
Mimuroto no Hasu (Lotus)—Pure and sweet scent like elegant lotus flowers blooming in a quiet summer morning
Uji no Matcha (Green Tea)—Sweet and elegant scent of green tea harvested in Uji, one of the most famous tea-producing areas in Kyoto

What's Your Return Policy?
We accept returns of unworn and unused goods that you purchased from us within 30 days of the ship date. Yard Sale items can only be returned for store credit. If you do need to exchange or return an item all you need is your order number and the shipping zip code in hand. Contact us to start the process.
Can I Pay In Installments?
We offer two payment plans: Shop Pay and Afterpay. You can select either in checkout and pay in multiple intallments.

We ship via USPS within the continental US. Please provide a valid shipping address for ground delivery. You can follow the progress of your shipment from the shipping email you receive. We endeavor to ship your goods within three working days.
