Kungyokudo Incense

Kungyokudo is Kyoto's oldest & best-known manufacturer, making the scents for the ceremonies of our everyday life since 1954. These high-quality incense sticks contain only pure essences and no wood or bamboo. They are lovingly crafted based on their centuries-old tradition. The scents are warming, soothing, and long-lasting. 

Each pack contains 18 sticks in incense (three of each scent), as well as a brass incense holder.

Shiko Red, Three of Each Scent:

Sakaimachi (Kungyokudo)—Mixed scent

Kitayama no Bara (Rose)—Sweet and beautiful like the petals of roses that bloom with the morning dew

Ohara no Cosmos (Cosmos)—Light and sweet scent like cosmos flowers blooming under the clear autumn sky

Kitano no Kabai (Plum Blossoms)—Gorgeous and noble scent like red plum blossoms that when blooming in light snow, make us feel the coming of spring soon

Diago no Sakura (Cherry Blossoms)—Sweet and soothing scent that make us feel like we are walking through the cherry blossoms

Gion no Maiko (Maiko)—Sweet and gorgeous scent like the fragrant Maiko hanging in the air with her sleeves
