Karafuu is the Swahili name for Clove, the main spice grown on the island of Zanzibar. During harvest season, the cloves are dried in the sun and you can smell the aroma in villages around the island. The carving on the lid of Chako's signature jar is inspired by the shape of the clove flower.

- This product is made out of one bottle from the more than 2 million bottles Chako collects in one year in Zanzibar

- 60% of the Chako artisans are female and they focus on unemployed youth and create knowledge
- Glass is dishwasher safe; wood should not be washed in water

You can return unused, unworn goods within 21 days of receiving your order. Please contact us with your order number and/or email used to place the order to initiate a return.
- You cannot return or exchange intimates.
- Permanently discounted goods (like what you find in our Yard Sale) can only be exchanged or for store credit.
- Exchanges receive complimentary return shipping.

We ship via USPS Ground Saver. We do offer expedited shipping if you need your order sooner. Contact us!
Orders over $75 ship free in the lower 48 states. Shipping costs for Alaska and Canada will display during checkout.
