This thick weave sisal basket is a work of art, handmade in Taita-Taveta, a rural county in Kenya, where Zawadisha calls home. The women who weave these baskets are not only supported by being paid a fair wage for their weaving, but they are also supported by our microlending program.
Like a fingerprint, there are no two baskets alike. So if you see something you like, grab it before it's gone.

What's Your Return Policy?
You can return unused, unworn goods within 21 days of receiving your order. Please contact us with your order number and/or email used to place the order to initiate a return.
- You cannot return or exchange intimates.
- Permanently discounted goods (like what you find in our Yard Sale) can only be exchanged or for store credit.
- Exchanges receive complimentary return shipping.

We ship via USPS Ground Saver. We do offer expedited shipping if you need your order sooner. Contact us!
Orders over $75 ship free in the lower 48 states. Shipping costs for Alaska and Canada will display during checkout.
