A round up of awesome women centered, ski and snowboard clinics & events for the 2022 season!
Being a woman on the mountain is rad. Full Stop. However, being a woman on the mountain can also often feel a bit isolated. The industry, unfortunately, has historically made women, or really anyone who is not a white cis man, feel like a second thought. However, things are changing, with resorts and trainers realizing that women make up 40% of riders on the mountain and there is definitely demand for clinics, courses, and events.
Women want to improve, socialize and shred too! So we’ve rounded up some great ski and snowboard clinics for women happening in various ski resorts in North America. If you're looking for backcountry clinics for women across North America, check out Backcountry Babes, a women-owned business in Truckee, CA that provides backcountry opportunities for women of different abilities and ages to gain skills in outdoor recreational sports, backcountry safety, and to participate in fun adventures together.
We have grouped the events into areas that we also have “crews” for that you can join by heading over to the Coalition Clubhouse (a virtual community where you can interact with and share resources with women on the mountain). Most of our crews are based on areas in NA: The Sierras, The Rocky Mountains, The Pacific Northwest, The East Coast, and Canada/Alaska. The clinics and events are catered to these areas so if you join the Clubhouse and a crew you will automatically have some awesome people to shred with at the clinics and events!
And you won't want to miss our XTREME DEMO TOUR coming to a mountain near you. You’re welcome.
