Let's be real: Shit is super scary right now. Since we can't spend time with you IRL, we wanted to create a way for us all to stay connected through these unprecedented times. Introducing Inside Voices, a weekly virtual small business support group and happy hour.
Inside Voices Small Business Support Group, Wednesday at 3 pm PST: This one-hour Zoom call is designed for anyone who owns a small business, is running a small non-profit, or is a freelancer. It will feature one special guest each week who will share how they are working through the COVID-19 induced changes, and it will be moderated by our CEO Jen Gurecki. We may not have all of the answers you need, but this will be a way to brainstorm and learn from one another.
The session will be fluid and conversational and will include ample Q&A time from guests. We will post the links here both for upcoming calls and past recordings. You can also find this information via the weekly emails we send out and on our social.
We're really excited for the next Inside Voices on June 3rd that will focus on how to effectively launch Facebook/Instagram ads. Register here.
Past sessions include:
Inside Voices Happy Hour, Thursday at 5 pm PST:
Thanks to everyone who joined us for Inside Voices Happy Hour on Instagram-- we've put a pause on this since we want less time on screen!
Past guests include:
Andrea Slusarski of Drawing From Nature who will share how creativity is a tool we can use to help navigate times of chaos and crisis.
Aparna Rajagopal-Durbin of the Avarna Group shared her perspective about how we can apply a lens of justice, diversity, equity, and inclusion to our understanding of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Jenny Bruso of Unlikely Hikers.
Lila Leatherman of Lamella Consulting.
Nellie Davis, owner of Outsiders Hair, who taught us how to trim our bangs (read: an essential distraction from life right now).
Denver-based duo LVDY, who performed a virtual concert.
There's only one rule we ask you to follow: You don't have to use your inside voice, but you must practice empathy and respect.
