Knee deep powder in Taos and these were so much fun!

I didn’t know what true pow surfing was until I got these skis! They float incredibly well and feel nearly effortless plowing down the steep and deep, even in the heavy Cascade concrete pow we get here. Because they are lightweight, they make jump turns a breeze and handle quite well in tight chutes and trees. They also have a nice edge for icy runs and were quite stable and fun on fast groomers, too. They are an absolute joy to ski!
I am an expert skier and I’m 125lbs and 5’5”. I was a bit nervous to get the 168cm with them mounted -10cm out of fear they’d be a little too much ski in the front, but they are absolutely perfect. I fell in love with them on our first run together.

I bought these for my wife to empower her to shred the patriarchy. She loves them. If you have a special someone in your life that likes to climb mountains and ski pow, but doesn't want to support the cis-gender-straight-white-male dominated winter hard goods market, get these for them. You'll be supporting a badass women-led company. The skis are light, have a super fun shape, and they look pretty. Remember, having skis that ski well is important, but having good-looking skis that don't look like some dude named "Chad" designed them is arguably more important.

This is my most favorite touring ski I've ever owned! Super lightweight fun and playful. I feel confident on them in any conditions in variable backcountry terrain and I use them for ski patrol too. The dimensions are perfect, Coalition basically nailed the perfect women's backcountry ski! Plus as an added bonus I love the beautiful graphics!

When I first received these skis, I was terrified of them! They have a huge shovel and all I could think about was how a wrong move on my free heels would make them dive and flip me into an endo. Nope! They are AMAZING! Super light for the skin up, then floaty and dreamy on the way down. And, they are stiff enough that if you run into unexpected turbulence, you can feel confident the ski won't let you down. This is a fantastic backcountry ski!

I’ve taken these skis everywhere and in all types of terrain from glaciers in the PNW to champagne pow in Japan. They are lightweight and glide through pow but also have a nice edge for when conditions get firm. Great all around backcountry ski!

Coalition Snow combined the best elements of the SOS and Abyss powder board, added significant backcountry travel design essentials, and tightened and lightened up the already stiff and popular skis to bring the ladies what they were asking for; a lightweight, high performance, versatile backcountry board to shred hard on! The La Nieves, come in at just under 6 lbs, are kind and easy on the ascent and killer on the descent. High performing and reliable in powder, corn, steeps, and even in firm and crud these boards will answer your call for great ski adventure anywhere on the planet. The La Nieve is designed to tackle back-country climbs and couloirs with ease. A few distinct design elements include; A Basswood and ash core. ABS sidewalls lower swing weight, allow for quicker turn initiation, and provide a solid edge grip. The ski is stiff and maintains Coalition's commitment to flex and high performance for skiers who are ready to reap the benefits of their years of experience and have a ski that can keep up. She features an early rise tip and slight tail rocker with a bit of camber under foot. I have toured and skied the la Nieve in numerous locations and I can honestly say it has held up in variable, reliable, and unpredictable conditions. The lightweight factor is essential for long tours and steep bootpacks and the endless adventure the back country ski tours can bring. Cut some skins and make room in your quiver for the one and only backcountry ski to combine light-weight, high performance, flex and versatility to shred- made for women by women

These babies shred in everything from Sierra Cement to icy crud to deep powder in the rockies. Struggle a touch to get them around in the trees, but that's only cause I was so obsessed with this graphic that I jumped 12 cm in length so there's a learning curve :)...
They shine in deep snow and are super well designed for the uphills. Can't wait for another season on them!

Not a one trick pony! These skis are pure magic.
You don't have to sacrifice downhill performance for being light and speedy on the uphill. On descents, the La Nieve's are stable, charge have have some serious float.
I originally got them to be by dedicated backcountry ski, but I love them so much that they have become the daily driver. They crush whatever conditions you throw at them; deep pow, mashed potatoes, groomers, bumps, ice, tight trees, spring slush and summer sun cups.
Resort days, backcountry tours, sled-assisted backcountry, these skis can do it all!
I am 5'4", 130 pounds, and I ride the 168's with Fritschi Tecton 12 bindings.

Favourite skis ever. Awesome POW surfers, super light weight to walk up those hills and can even kill it on a groomer! So stable, yet so light with just that right amount of playfulness

These are my favorite skis of all time. They handle that light Rocky Mountain Pow, that Cascade Concrete, that Ice Coast rink, and the Everywhere Slush. I've taken them out on the sled (where they've handled some pretty gnar crashes) and out on long 1-day or multi-day tours in the backcountry. They're light on the uphill, but charge on the down. They also have a surprisingly tight turning radius, making them perfect for that human slalom situation that we've all faced on the resort. Plus, they're so pretty! (Also just FYI - I use them with Shift bindings, I'm 5'4" and I ride the 168 and they perfect)

I got on the La Nieve ski in 2020. I was previously using the Coalition SOS All Mountain ski for my backcountry setup but decided I wanted a little more lightweight/backcountry specific ski. I paired the La Nieve with the Salomon Shift bindings and mounted them at the recommended mounting point and absolutely LOVE the setup for touring! I honestly will ski it in bounds on some days too because the ski is so surfy and fun. If you want a ski that literally defines the meaning "surfing pow" this is the perfect ski for you! And it's extremely light on the uphill!

My trusty sidekick
I have travelled all over the world skiing with my La Nieve and they are a game changer. Super light for the skin up yet sturdy and stable for the descent. They are easy to maneuver in deep powder and they hold up well on long backcountry excursions. I mount mine with dynafit bindings and trust these skis to handle Colorado terrain
